Spain, the favorite, will play Holland on Sunday for the World Cup. Spain beat Germany 1-0, in a game where the dominated defensively, allowing Germany only six shots on goal. Surprisingly, this is Spain's first appearance ever in the World Cup final.
Holland beat Uruguay 3-2 in a very exciting game--the result was something of an upset. Holland which hasn't had a World Cup final since 1978, will be an underdog to Spain. It will be tough for Holland to win, as Spain has one of the best keepers in the world and excellent defense.Germany and Uruguay will play for third place Saturday July 10 starting at 1330 CDT. The championship game will be Sunday, July 11 at 1330 CDT. Thus endth the Worth Cup.
